This 83-minute video is based on the Gospel of Luke. Biblical scholars chose the Gospel of Luke as the basis of the script because it was the most complete Gospel account and it was written to the masses. The script is faithful to the biblical account without embellishment or subplots. The words spoken by Jesus' character are found in Luke's Gospel. All of the actors, with the exception of the one portraying Jesus, are Israeli. Filming occurred on location at sites where actual biblical events are believed to have occurred.
